AI Hits The Mile High City

AI hits Denver, the Mile High City with Victoria Beckham as the guest celebrity judge. This is the second time they go to Denver in all of the nine seasons of AI. It’s amazing the American Idol is very popular as the crowd this season has doubled since the last time they were in Denver. Let’s hope they find another Chris Daughtry!
Simon Cowell Quits Idol

If you haven’t already heard, Simon Cowell will be leaving American Idol. This will be his last season. It seems he will be heading up the American version of “X Factor.” There’s rumor stating that he wants Paula Abdul to join him on this venture.
This could be the beginning of the end for American Idol. I mean, when Simon leaves, who will replace him? Simon makes American Idol what it is today and it’s hard to see someone else fill his shoes. Is this a strategic move for Cowell? Heading up X Factor will give him more money than being on Idol. Who knows? I’m sure over time American Idol will lose its steam and X Factor may rise to the occasion.
Let’s hope this season will be spectacular!
Get Ready For A New Season Of AI!

If you haven’t already heard, the new season of American Idol will hit the TV prime time schedule on Jan. 12 2010. This season will be pack full of guest judges and witty comments.
Also making rumors true, is that Simon Cowell has one more season before he calls it quits. He sights that he wants to focus on his shows, specifically the X Factor show. American Idol may be winding down now that Paula left and soon Simon will follow. How will American Idol survive?
Let’s hope this new season will be one to remember!
New American Idol Judge – Ellen Degeneres

We just learned last week that Paula Abdul is officially off American Idol and that TV show host Ellen Degeneres is in. That’s right, Ellen is the newest judge for American Idol. Although she has no singing career or knows much about the music industry, she reports she will speak for the public and fans. I have a feeling every performance she hears will be “good, great, and fantastic” with a comic twist.
There will also be celebrity judges for the audition part of American Idol so keep your eyes out for them!
Adam Lambert's Debut Album

The runner up of American Idol, Adam Lambert, will release his debut album on November 24th of this year. This will come out a week after AI winner, Kris Allen’s debut album.
Lambert’s album will have elements of rock with a hit of glam and pop thrown in. He made it big on AI with songs of that nature and will continue to go with this run on his debut album. Lambert has yet to title the album, stating that he wants to wait until he knows what songs will be on the album. I am sure his debut will rival Allen’s and I secretly hope it comes out ahead.
